Perfect for a Hoodoo Doc. Similar in some respects to voodio or saints, the Loas are not to be used like servants but must also be served and respected.
It offers a glimpse into many of the products used by practitioners that few get to see. She then uses the slur “tranny” quite casually in reference to drag queens. Alvarado includes a good bit of information about some of the primary Loas, their histories, fields of influence, and tips about how to win their favor. This was because I was weird.
